GETTING STARTED AS A CLIENT

There are many ways to facilitate healing, and we believe that we must treat each person according to their individual needs. The therapeutic relationship is integral to effective treatment, and our psychotherapists are committed to creating a thoughtful, curious environment that honors your lived experience.

We use a variety of modalities to facilitate personal transformation and serve our community’s diverse needs. Many of us specialize in trauma work and may offer Somatic Experiencing®, a body based trauma recovery modality.

Please reach out by phone or email to connect with our Clinical Coordinator to inquire about connecting with one of our psychotherapists. Our onboarding process may take two to three weeks and will depend on insurance. We offer both in person and telehealth services. Once your appointment has been scheduled, you will be sent an email containing the applicable forms through our portal.

These forms may also be downloaded, completed, and then returned to the psychotherapist with whom you are connected. You may be asked to sign and/or complete additional forms. We are glad to support you with this process.

Our child psychotherapists do not have availability so unfortunately we are unable to meet requests for children (ages 0-13) at this time. Please continue to check the MPG website for availability updates.

In our insurance verification process we make every effort to inform clients if we notice that coverage has expired, however, it is the client’s responsibility to alert us of any changes in insurance coverage to avoid being charged out-of-pocket rates for therapy services. Please make sure of your insurance coverage prior to requesting services.
