Heath Pecoraro uses He/Him/His pronouns and is a clinician at Maverick Psychotherapy Group. He has experience working with people of a variety of ages and abilities and believes that people, the environments they live in, and the challenges they navigate are multifaceted and complex and therefore the process of healing must honor the whole person as well as the conglomerate of factors that impacts their lives.

People have within themselves the ability to heal and foster resilience and he believes part of his role as a therapist is to supply the proper environment, non-judgement, empowerment, resources, and guidance to support people in their journey in curating what wellness looks like for them. Sometimes this involves working collaboratively in discovering, accessing, and utilizing strengths a person already has. He is empathetically attuned to some of the ways life and mental health can be challenging and provides people with a space to feel, process, cope, grieve, grow, accept, and transform the challenges and fluctuations within their lives and wellness.

As a therapist, he acknowledges the significant impact of socio-political factors on a person's wellness and believes that individually and collectively working through trauma is one of the pathways towards a more liberated society. As a Transgender man he has a particular passion for working with people within the LGBTQIA+ community and believes every person deserves to have a therapeutic environment that affirms all aspects of their personhood.
