Abri Bernstein, MHC Candidate, Clinical Trainee

Abri Bernstein (She/Her) is a Clinician-in-Training who deeply believes in the inherent wholeness and capacity for healing within every individual, and that, ultimately, there’s nothing to fix. Abri draws from a blend of therapeutic modalities, including Polyvagal Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a client-centered approach to nervous system regulation and trauma-informed care. She supports clients in addressing experiences such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, and more.  Abri’s therapeutic approach is informed by the understanding that healing happens in relationship, and she works to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their unique paths to healing.

Before entering the field of psychotherapy, Abri worked at the nexus of social impact, gender equity, and business. In addition to her clinical work, Abri is a musician, who performs guitar and vocals in intimate settings. She values creativity as an important tool for self-expression and healing. Abri is passionate about learning alongside her clients, helping them connect with their innate wisdom and navigate the complexities of their emotional and relational worlds.
