Devin Wiesner, LMSW
Devin Wiesner (he/him) works with adults and couples, helping them manage anxiety, depression, conflict, disharmonious relationship patterns, and other mental health issues. He is honored to collaborate with and support people in their journey of change and recognizes the choice to begin therapy can be difficult, that it takes courage to acknowledge one's struggles and problems. To facilitate the process, a supportive and non-judgemental environment is cultivated and considered to be an integral part of the therapeutic process. Devin will work with you to identify, understand, and address the underlying causes of your psychological distress (to make the unconscious conscious) while simultaneously working towards change to more effectively respond to life’s more immediate challenges.
Devin is committed to ongoing learning and skill development in order to best meet the needs of his clients. He received his MSW from the University at Buffalo, and his BS from Cornell University. He has trained in attachment and human development with Dr. Patricia Crittenden, Mentalization Based Therapy with Dr. Anthony Bateman through the Anna Freud Centre, and in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy with Dr. Stan Tatkin. Prior to his work in mental health, Devin worked for over 20 years in industry focusing on regulatory compliance and vendor relations. His work and life is grounded in meditation, something he has practiced for close to 20 years.
