Katharine Sidelink, LMSW

Katharine Sidelnik, LMSW (she/they) is a holistic psychotherapist working with teens, adults, and couples navigating a wide range of issues including anxiety, trauma, and depression. Katharine draws from trauma-informed and somatic modalities, the humanistic approach, nondual wisdom traditions, and anti-oppressive frameworks that empower individuals to (re)connect with themselves, community, and the world around us. With choice.

Katharine believes in the inherent wisdom and embodied aliveness within each of us and offers a warm, non-judgmental, and empowering environment to explore strengths, obstacles, and new ways of being with oneself and others with increased expression and authenticity.

Katharine has a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago School of Social Work, Policy and Practice, and completed the Violence Prevention Program of Study as a Human Rights Fellow, studying a systems approach to domestic violence prevention. Katharine is committed to health equity and practices as a New York State Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) and community herbalist with a harm reduction lens. Katharine is currently studying The Discipline of Authentic Movement, a contemporary mystical practice centered in the development of embodied witness consciousness and the tremendous power of movement to access and heal experiences that may only be remembered in our bodies.
