Thayer Kyusan Case, LCSW-R, Managing Director, Clinical Supervisor, SEP
Thayer Kyusan Case (he/him/his) is Director of Maverick Psychotherapy Group and works with children (through Play Therapy), adults of all ages, and families. He has particular expertise in treating grief, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, ADHD, sensory integration and mild autistic spectrum issues, stress reduction, issues with spirituality, and trauma (Chronic and Acute PTSD).
Aimee Gallin, LCSW-R, MA, Managing Director, Clinical Supervisor, SEP
Aimee Gallin (she/her/hers) is Director of MPG, and is a Somatic experiencing practitioner and Gestalt influenced psycho-dynamic psychotherapist, working with individuals, families and groups to assist in meeting therapeutic goals. Aimee works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and panic— often as a result of both developmental (growing up) and shock (events) trauma—as well as working to help people maintain positive relationships.
Fay (Francesca) Aaronson, LCSW-R
Fay (Francesca) Aaronson (she/her), LCSW-R, has been effectively working with children, adolescents and adults for over 25 years in private practice, school and agency settings, providing counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and groups.
Amie Anderson, LMSW
Amie Rose Anderson, LMSW (she/her), values therapy as an opportunity for connection, empowerment, and exploration. She approaches her work with adults, adolescents, and children from a strengths-based, collaborative framework, creating an environment where clients can express themselves fully and explore areas of their lives where they feel inhibited, distressed, or unable to move forward. Amie has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, ADHD, body-based oppression, and trauma. Working within a Body Liberation framework, Amie welcomes anyone who has lived with body-based oppression due to skin color, body size, gender, and the expansive variety of intersectional identities.
Donna Andres-Hogan, LMHC
Donna (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are experiencing difficulties managing their emotions, navigating relationships, and life’s challenges. She provides a safe and empathic environment to help clients express themselves and identify areas in their life where they feel stuck or are experiencing distress.
Bobby Bui, PHD, Clinical Supervisor
Bobby Bui (he/him) is a licensed psychologist who provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Trained in multiple therapeutic models he adopts an integrative approach as it is flexible to patients’ needs and sensitive to the therapeutic alliance. He also conducts psychological, educational, and neuropsychological assessments, and is a Clinical Supervisor at MPG. Bobby possesses over a decade of experience practicing psychology in diverse clinical settings. Prior to joining Maverick, Bobby worked at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York City, where he completed psychoeducational assessments and provided consultation to teachers and learning specialists in the lower school.
Kelly Carrone, LMSW
Kelly Carrone (they/them) is a skilled and compassionate provider who specializes in working with gender and sexual minorities, particularly clients who are transgender, queer, and/or polyamorous. They focus on trauma (complex and acute), exploration of gender, anxiety, mood disorders, relationships, parenting, ADHD, neurodiversity-affirming care, and all aspects of sexuality.
Christopher Daniels, LMSW
Christopher Kelley Daniels (he/him) approaches therapy with the belief that collaboration is key, and there is no primary formula for mental health. Utilizing creative conceptualization, humor, and a psycho-dynamic approach, Christopher aims to work with clients to establish unique spaces that allow them to effectively process their lived experiences, relationships, and identities. Certified in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School, and employing an ongoing movement practice, intentional physicality and embodiment are prominent domains of interest within Christopher’s practice.
Fanon Frazier, LMSW
Fanon (he/him) is a psychodynamic social worker who applies integrated theories and modalities, though is informed mostly by his own journey and learning from teachers and mentors. He holds deep space and presence of mind for the whole person, including his clients’ environment, struggles, relationships, beliefs, and the other complicated areas of life. He has worked with individuals (early adolescents and up), couples, and families – around life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and other diagnoses.
Timo Gould, MHC-LP, SEP
Timo Gould (he/him) believes each person has the innate capacity to heal and learn new ways to navigate their life. His background in burnout prevention and resilience education lead him to believe change is possible even in our most stuck times.
Bryan Harrison, LMSW
Bryan Harrison (he/him) focuses on the exploration of one’s experiences of the world, and the meaning created based on these experiences. Bryan understands flexibility in treatment is crucial in building alliance toward a common goal, as therapy should be, at the very least, practical and functional in one’s life. Bryan works with adults and young adults, persons of any identification and intersection of identities.
Jessica Hong, LCSW, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, SEP
Jess Hong (she/her) is Korean-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and Clinical Supervisor. She practices with the intention that all beings have profound innate capacity in healing and connection with their lived experiences leading to shifts that allow one to gain deep insight into their own embodied resilience and vitality.
Olesya Jacques, MFT-LP
Olesya (Ah-le-see-uh) Kim Jacques (she/her) provides person-centered psychotherapy around a broad spectrum of issues to individuals, couples, and families. She acknowledges the importance of therapeutic alliance as a foundation for healing and the beginning of the explorative journey. Olesya sees each client as a unique being with the innate ability to heal, and with the desire to achieve balance, meaningful in their own way.
Naimah Muhammad, LMSW
Naimah (Ny-e-ma) Muhammad (she/her) sees the world and her practice through a social-justice lens. She leads with the belief that her clients know themselves and their world best, and can overcome many traumas in life with the support of a therapist. Naimah has served and supported families who have experienced Foster and Preventative care, families going through transitional periods, as well as individuals including children, adolescents, and adults. Naimah’s practice is empathic and encourages her clients to be their true selves while healing with grace.
Shane Dzimian, LMSW
Shane (they/them) is a queer/trans-nonbinary clinician who specializes in working with individuals working to manage anxiety, adjustment to life transitions, and interpersonal relationships of all kinds. Shane understands the importance of providing a safe space for visibility, self-exploration, and inclusion; and is continuously exploring ways to cultivate this environment for each individual who walks through their door.
Sam Nielsen, LMSW
Sam Nielsen (she/her) is a psychotherapist who recognizes the human experience is helped and hindered by a constellation of visible and invisible variables. Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in collaborative, relational healing, inclusive of all the intersectional identities that influence a person's experience of suffering and joy.
Brian Pasquariello, LMSW
Brian (he/him) believes in therapy as being a sacred place for one to reflect, heal, explore, create, and to allow for that which is not yet known to grow. He utilizes patience and mindful attention in his practice, and enjoys helping clients to create new narratives after carefully contextualizing their circumstances and connecting to inner sources of wisdom and strength.
Emily Passik, LMHC, SEP, Senior Clinician
Emily Passik (she/her) completed the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at SUNY New Paltz, where she initially received foundational training in the practice of music therapy. She believes that channeling the power of the creative arts enables one the capacity to cathartically give voice to internal experiences that otherwise might go unexpressed.
Heath Pecoraro, MHC-LP
Heath Pecoraro uses He/Him/His pronouns and is a clinician at Maverick Psychotherapy Group. He has experience working with people of a variety of ages and abilities and believes that people, the environments they live in, and the challenges they navigate are multifaceted and complex and therefore the process of healing must honor the whole person as well as the conglomerate of factors that impacts their lives.
Emma Pile, LCSW, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor
Emma Pile (she/her) is a psychotherapist who works with children and adults of all ages. She received her BA at Bard College and her MSW at the University at Albany. Prior to MPG, Emma worked at the Community Hospice providing grief counseling to children and adults after the death of a loved one with a specialization in traumatic loss. Emma has particular expertise in treating grief, attachment issues, trauma, relationship upheaval, and identity exploration, while currently pursuing certification to become a registered play therapist.
